My feet bleed from acres marched in righteous pride
My bones cry from weight forced by songs of humility
My muscles ache from somber joy sealed from inside
My lungs shudder within the depths of mercies endless sea.
Unspeakable joy fuels my vacant soul
Unfathomable grace clothes my tattered mind
Unbreakable hope is in my heart to hold
Unshakeable mercy in my hands to bind
The gray dusk haze wraps its palms around my neck
The tired heavens sighs as it rests its sullen eyes
Calloused feet slide wearily across the old crying deck
The inky night slowly captures blazing celestial fireflies.
A salty gem descends your porcelain face
You tremble sending quakes into my heart
Emotions weave silently into my heart of lace
A rogue prayer is murmured for us to never part.
Through my windows I stare into your depths
And through mine you see my hidden truth
From crooked ceiling to down my hoary steps
From my shadowed basement to my rusty roof.
But through my bloody panes I through my lust
And now I wait for you to show your love coated in dust.
We all have a beast pounding in our chest
It seeks to devour our lives with love
It is an addiction we can’t resist
Granted to us from above
We thirst for the sun within the dark
Forever we hunger for our loves heart
Dreams of rivers drenched in light
Visions of dancers in the dusk
Wailing opera in the night
The dawn breaths its rosy musk
To live inside a box
Gilded in gold chains
With doors made of rocks
With all four limbs restrained
You’ll truly know true terror
If you step outside that door
But if you stay inside for ever
Your heart will always crave for more.
Hidden with the earths old bones they hide their fangs and claws,
Behind their wall of flesh and tears they fill their bloody maws.
Cloak by blood, shielded in bones they dine on stones from graves
They happily dig into their futures womb in search of holy slaves.
With scarred hands they mined the ore and shaped a mighty shield
Before its colossal might, every attempt of war trembles and yields.
Upon a land gained by will and kept through bloody fists
They dare the world and all its justice to take it from its midst.
Who has destiny chosen to sit upon her throne?
Only fate knows her mind and the rage within her bones.
Drops of rhapsody fell from the azure sky igniting the world,
The whispers of ocean caress the rage of the tempted earth,
Upon the parched sand we march with our bloody fists curled,
Amongst the lustrous forest we slumber in natures hearth.
The day has come and the night is dead,
Let us all stand in twilight’s stead.
The sun has risen on my path again, a new journey has begun,
These rested hands cry out for my tools and my feet beg to run.
The stars dance as the clouds bow before my familiar gaze,
The breath of Earth spreads through the land and clears away the haze.
A new song has been sung from the lips of fate that draws me like a flame,
And now my tortured soul yearns for the birth of its true and final name.
My journeys before have forged my mind into a great and mighty tool,
But the trial that beckons for me now possesses its own secret rules.
So now that the mold is gone and my chains of rest have been sold,
It’s time to find my true self and bend the world so I can shape the mold.
Pillars of ivory born from the womb of the earth
Rivers of ruby embracing the curves of the land
The blessed cry of eternity in its moment of birth
Valleys of toil etched into eternities calloused hand
From out of the muddy darkness rises infinity
Unrivaled strength drips from its scarred hide
Within its hands dwell rage and holy serenity
Reality trembles before its untamed pride
Broken on the inside with pieces stuck to the bone
This shell is eternal, stubborn and hard like stone
The rays of light seek the path hidden within the scars
But the trek is futile for I am chained within mental bars
I seek the warden who hid the keys from my sullen eyes
As my shepherd rains crimson rain from the golden skies
I hear the drops fall upon this retched and bloody cage
But only pain and confusion oozes from my unjust rage
As the cleansing drops seep into this fragile cocoon
I feel the light of grace raise my soul with the moon
And as this scarred cocoon is slowly soaked and lit
Now fed by grace I have the strength to make it split
